Kim Weston Dressage 

Kim Weston Dressage is located in the heart of the Atherton Tablelands, inland from Cairns, Far North Queensland.  It is here that Kim runs a private equine training, coaching, breeding and agistment facility.

Coaching

Kim is an Internationally experienced dressage competitor, trainer and coach, with over 30 years experience in the industry.

Having worked and trained in many of Europe’s top international dressage facilities and successfully run competition stables in Australia and Germany, Kim Weston is well qualified and possesses a thorough understanding of everything required to produce successful dressage combinations to the highest level of the sport.

Breeding

Having gained first hand experience training the many and varied bloodlines on the international competition circuit, Kim has specially selected mare lines which have proven and excelled themselves in the competition arena.  Kim Weston uses selection criteria which place high importance on the inheritance of ride-ability, soundness and movement , being of the opinion that these are essential prerequisites for the highest level of the sport.

Agistment

Located on the dryer, cooler Atherton Tablelands, this purpose built, quality agistment facility, with irrigated Rhodes & couch grass paddocks, shelters & stables.  All enclosures have safe timber posts, plain wire & electric fence standoffs.

An all-weather, sand surface, full competition size equine dressage arena is also located on the premises.

Being close to Cairns makes this the ideal location for the agistment of equine stock in the warmer months of the year to escape the wet, heat and humidity of the coast.
